For English-speaking clients with limited Japanese speaking ability, we have a Japanese-English bilingual client who has done several renovation projects with Atami Next House who may be seasonally available in Izu area to help facilitate communications for reasonable fees depending on the scope. She has fully renovated 4 of her own houses in California and 1 house in Izu and very familiar with the differences in renovation processes between the U.S. and Japan such as permit requirements and general cost of building materials (some are much more expensive in Japan such as windows while government subsidy may be available while mini-split ACs cost far less in Japan).
